I always followed the plan. Finished college in exactly four years—with honors. Worked in the summers to pay for college. Started my professional career three days after I graduated. Was married shortly after college. Worked as a CPA until my three kids were born. Stayed home with the kids and volunteered in my community. Once the kids were old enough, I returned to work.
